Lots of updates this weekend...

Good news: Little Pepper got adopted by a lovely young woman. She and her mom came and fell in love with the little man. He will be her first dog on her own and I think they will be very happy together.

Bad news: Janie was banished from our house by Will. She didn't like our puppy Apollo and Mamah kept fighting with her to protect her puppy... Not good. So she's not ours anymore.

Some more good news: Lucia made it to her new home in Tennessee. She is terrified, but should do better as she settles in. I've been crying since we dropped her off on Sunday, but I'm still very happy for her to have such a great home.

Diego is our newest foster. He is a cute 5yr old shepard corgi mix. A little shy, but super sweet and goofy. I'm really enjoying him other than his mild separation anxiety in the crate. He has fit right in with our puppies and Will seems to like him too.

Meet Pepper and Janie!!!

My foster friend Michelle ran into some issues with the county when her neighbors complained about her "kennel" so Will and I took two of her little doxie fosters. They are my first little doxies.

This is Pepper. We think he has some Australian Shepard in him. He's Mamah's new boyfriend.

And this is shy little Janie. Poor thing just had a full dental and a spay. She's on pain killers and resting it up.

Lucia is getting adopted!!!!

Lucia is heading to Tennessee this Sunday! She is being adopted by a lovely retired couple whose sister volunteers with me at Lost Dog. The lady is home all day and has play sessions with bubbles and balls and swimming pools. She'll take Lucia on weekly hikes in the Rocky Mountains. She'll even get to go to a weekly doggie day camp to work on her socialization with strangers. She is basically going to be they're new child alongside their other large German Shepard.

Trick or Treat Fundraiser for Lost Dog!!!

Hi guys,

I'm Trick or Treating for Lost Dog this year! Lost Dog is such a wonderful organization! They have given me the opportunity to save almost 20 dogs in the last year. I can't thank them enough for all of the good that they do!

Will is asking his family and I'm asking you! If we can raise $100 for LDCRF, then we can name one of the many lucky dogs that they save. We're asking for $10 donations (more or less). I'm going to set the name of our dog to a vote and you can buy one vote for each $10 you donate. If you chose to donate online, then make sure to add my name as your volunteer so that it counts for our team or you can just give me cash or check.

I'll call you to explain more in the next few days. Let's save some puppies and kitties!!!

Meet Birdie!

Birdie stayed with us for a weekend a couple weeks ago and now she's back! We got a lot off emails with her new pictures!

Lucia and Mamah are Buddies!

Lucia and Mamah have really bonded. They are constant buddies and Mamah has quite a soft spot for this little one! We have a family coming out to meet her at our place so hopefully it goes well!
