My life is mostly about my Mamah. School and other stuff happens, but it's mostly puppy tales. This is a scrapbook of her silliness and the foster pups that have touched my heart.

Cyder got returned... And then ADOPTED Again.
It was sad. She couldn't adjust to the kitty. So she was brought back. BUT... GOOD news, she was adopted the same day by the right family, a vet mom and an older dog to be her friend. Much better match!

For Christmas...
I decided to sponsor my first dog. This is Sasha. I haven't met her, but she reminds me of my Mamah and is on my list to eventually foster if it's possible to have two JRTs under one roof...

Hi, I’m Sasha! I am looking for a family to love and to love me back. I am a good girl who loves to play with my toys, other dogs and kids too! I’ve got a lot of energy and would love to go to an active family or a family with a canine buddy around my same size. But when I am done playing, there is nothing better than to find a nice lap to curl up next to.

Meet Cyder!
Tell a Friend Print Profile Share | Cyder aka Azalea Breed:Hound Mix Sex: Female Age: Approx. 3 year(s) Color: Red Size: Approx. 70 pounds Status: Available with foster Good With Kids: Yes Good With Cats: Not Yet Determined Good With Dogs: Yes Hi. My name is Cyder, but my puppy name was Azalea. I lived with my family for three years- since I was tiny- but they had a baby and now don't have enough time for me. I'm back at the Lost Dog Ranch and it’s a great place, but I sure miss having a family. I am housetrained, crate-trained, and know all of my basic commands. I’m an easygoing girl and I get along well with other dogs of all sizes. I love long walks and I am a great jogging partner. I'm active, but I'm also a friendly snuggle buddy. Belly rubs are the best!!! I am young enough to be a clown, but old enough to know how to chill. How about you? For more information, contact her foster at echo.keif@gmail.com. To meet Cyder aka Azalea at an adoption event, please e-maildogs@lostdogrescue.org or call (703)295-DOGS. Would you like to become the Paw-Pal Sponsor for Cyder aka Azalea? Presents!
Mom sent the puppies a care package and they really love their new bones. Mamah eats them with such commitment that I have to take them away after 30 minutes or she'll eat the whole thing, Pearl's too! She's a piggy.

Will and "his" Dog
Will is going to be crushed when Pearl gets adopted. He's been calling her his dog and would LOVE it if I gave in to my desire to keep this sweetheart. His entire family knows about her and he even contemplated adopting her to add to his pack of kitties. I love a softie. :)

Pearl's Updated Bio
Tell a Friend Print Profile Share | Pearl the White Thank You Danny the Hound for becoming the Pal for Paws Sponsor of Pearl the White. Breed:Hound MixSex: Female Age: Approx. 3 year(s) Color: White with Black Size: Approx. 40 pounds Status: Available with foster Good With Kids: Older Children Good With Cats: Not Yet Determined Good With Dogs: Yes We have heard it said that a dot on top of a dog's head is an angel's kiss. We think that might be true, since Pearl was one of the lucky ones who got out of the shelter and brought to the Lost Dog Ranch. Pearl is a very shy girl at first, especially with men, but a complete and utter sweetheart once she gets comfortable. She wants nothing more than to make the people she trusts happy and learns quickly with encouragement and kisses. Walks outside are the highlight of her day and she walks well on the leash. She is crate trained and housetrained. Pearl gets along great with other dogs, even bossy pups. She would be a wonderful second dog and no one will love you more than this darling girl. For more information contact her foster at echo.keif@Gmail.com. To meet Pearl the White at an adoption event, please e-maildogs@lostdogrescue.org or call (703)295-DOGS. |

Good News and Bad News
Good News: Cash has six families interested in adopting him this weekend! Fingers crossed that he'll find the right one.
Bad News: Pearl is coming back to me this weekend. She didn't seem to be adjusting to the family's cat. While I'll love to have her back, I wish she had found a forever home.

Puppy Play Day with Odin
Will's roommate Sev has a HUGE german shepherd named Odin. Mamah met him today and they both wore each other out. In fact, she's STILL sleeping hours later! She was jumping like a ninja and squeaking like a baby, but had a lot of fun! Here's how the day played out for Mamah...
We're going somewhere?! YAY!!!
BIG puppy!!! YAY!!!!
Sooo tired.... Take me home now. Ha ha.

Foster Pup
After a lot of thought I've decided to foster a dog with a local rescue called Lost Dog & Cat Rescue (http://www.lostdogrescue.org/). Here are a few of my potential foster pups I might be rooming with while they wait for a family of their own. Not sure which dog will be coming home with me. Still going through the paperwork stage, but I'll keep you posted with updates.

Scary Scare Crow
A family in the apartment complex has decided to be festive and put up a scare crow. I found it creative and kind of cute. Mamah is scared to death of it and barks as if it is going to come flying towards her at any moment. Will calls it the "Scare Mamah". Ha ha. I thought it was clever.

Lazy morning
Mamah is a bum like me. We know how to sleep in and she stays in bed forever. She's definitely my pup!
